What makes your cases better than the
cheaper ones I see on Ebay or Amazon?
Quality.
All of my cases are made with REAL
oak, poplar, or birch, one at a time.
I
don't use any laminations, veneers, particle board, or
plastic (except for the Lego).
I also use authentic Lego pieces that are embedded
in the shelves. My cases look
classy, professional, and are well-built.
With proper
care, my cases will last for generations.
Oh, one more thing; my cases are
MADE IN AMERICA!
- What sizes
are available?
I can certainly make any custom size
you like, but the standard sizes are: 1 x 1
(actual size 13" tall x 12" wide) (holds about 32 minifigures)
1 x 2 (holds about 50 minifigures)
2 x 2 (holds about 130
minifigures) 2 x 3
(holds about 190 minifigures)
2 x 3.5 (actual size 24" x 43" - my
most-popular size. Hold 250+ minfigures) 2 x 4
(holds about 280
minifigures) 3 x 5
(Flagship Model. Holds about 400+
minifigures)

How long does it take to make a case?
I am a one-man operation, so it depends on how
backed up I am.
Since I make my cases
as they are ordered, is does take some time.
On average, from start to finish, it takes about three to
four weeks
for the larger cases
(before shipping).
Around the
holidays, things can take a bit longer.
-
What styles/colors are available?
Natural oak, stained oak, or painted to any color.
- Can you paint it in ______ color??
Yes.
- Is there a glass front available?
Yes and no. I use 1/4" thick
acrylic. I don't use real glass
because it is too heavy, too expensive, and can be
potentially hazardous around kids.
Also, since I
ship 90% of my cases, real glass is almost guaranteed
to break during shipping.
- How are your cases hung/displayed?
Two ways: You can either
opt for flush-mount hangers on the back or
I
can build you wooden feet (stand) on the bottom of the case
(extra cost).
- What's
up with the lighting?
The
lighting is amazing! I developed a way to run LED
light strips embedded
under each
shelf. The result is no heat, very little power
consumption (4 Watts),
and they will last
for years without issue (rated at
10 years, non-stop use). Also, all of my
lighted cases have wireless remote control for on/off and
brightness.
- How are the lights powered?
I supply a standard 12v power adapter that plugs into any
household outlet.
-
Can I order different colored lighting?
Yes. Any color of the rainbow is available.
Also, white lights can be "warm"
or "cool".
- Do you ship?
YES! Most of my cases are shipped, but unfortunately,
it isn't cheap.
Because my cases are large
and heavy, shipping can get a little pricey.
Email me your city, zip, and sized case you're interested in
and I will get you
an exact shipping quote.
- How do
I order and pay for a case?
The
old-fashioned way - with personalized attention.
Go to "Contact", send me an email and tell me what
you'd like or what you're interested in. I will respond with a quote and/or any
questions I might have regarding your design.
Once
everything is set, I will send you an invoice where you can
pay through Paypal or Credit Card.
Once I receive
your payment, it will lock you into the build cue for the
next batch of cases I make.
I will send you photos
of the construction process so you can watch it go together
and
know where things stand as far as timing.

Do you make cases without Lego plates or
other designs such as furniture and toys?
You bet! I love to
do someting different and/or challenging. Let me know what you need and I'll see what I
can do with your ideas!
